VE DAY

We had a lovely VE Day last Friday at the Legion with a display and music from some records that were donated. People enjoyed looking at the photos and talking about the past. Fordham Youth Group put a ribbon on the wish tree for each of the 14 Fordham soldiers that died. We also had a couple of requests from previous residents and family that asked for a ribbon to be tied on in memory on their behalf. We all enjoyed Gary and Sue Franks doing the rounds in their tank!
